BLINK BATTLE/ BLINK BACK

How to Play

The rule

Blink back ONLY when both of the opponent's eyes close together. That fully-closed moment is the true window. The tighter your closure syncs with the opponent's, the higher your grade and the more damage you deal.

Feints cost HP

  • A single eye closing (a wink) is a feint — do not follow it
  • Both eyes only half-closing is a feint — do not follow it
  • Blinking outside the true window costs 1 player HP and breaks your combo

Combos

Consecutive hits inside true windows build a combo multiplier, up to ×2.50 damage. Skipping a true window costs no HP but resets your combo.

Your health

You start with 5 HP. Each mistake (following a feint or blinking off-window) costs 1 HP. The first feint mistake each round is protected by a training shield with no penalty.

Calibration

Before your first round, the game runs about eight seconds of on-device calibration to learn your personal eye-open and eye-closed thresholds. This happens locally and is never uploaded.

Requirements

  • Desktop Chrome or Edge
  • A webcam
  • A private, well-lit space
  • WebGL, Web Worker, and ImageBitmap support
  • Grant camera permission when prompted

Tips

  • Watch both eyes, not one
  • Stay relaxed — forced staring raises false blinks
  • Pause if your eyes feel tired
