Privacy Policy
BLINK BATTLE uses your device's camera to detect eye closures so you can play a blink-reaction game.
Camera access
The game requests camera access through the browser's standard getUserMedia permission prompt. The camera stream is used only while you are playing and only to score eye closures.
On-device detection
Face and eye detection runs entirely in your browser using MediaPipe Face Landmarker inside a Web Worker. Camera frames are processed in your device's memory and are never transmitted over the network.
What we never collect
- Video frames or recordings
- Identity or face-recognition data
- Biometric templates or stored eye measurements
- Any face data beyond the three signals listed below
What the game uses
- Per-frame eye-closure scores (left and right)
- A confidence value for the detection
- Timestamps used for scoring and combos
Analytics
We use PostHog to collect anonymous product analytics, such as the fact that a battle started or ended. Analytics events never include camera frames, eye-closure scores, or identifying information, and analytics traffic is routed through this site's own reverse proxy.
Local storage
Your language preference is saved in your browser's localStorage. No personal data is stored.
Children
BLINK BATTLE is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. Because no personal or biometric data leaves the device, no parental consent or data-deletion request is required — but you are welcome to contact us at any time.
